a race with all electric cars like that would be weird to watch, you would just hear like a constant humming from the cars instead of the vvvvVVVVROOOOOOMMMMMMMMmmmm of the engine.

They should have compared it to the original gas powered Ariel Atom 2 (the car this electric car seems to be based on).

But if this is commercialized, nobody will buy it for the simple fact that the original Ariel Atom 2 costs almost half the price tag. And usually, people who like fast and great handling cars don`t give a damn about fuel consumption.

But it is a great exercise that shows the potential. All they need now is to reduce the costs.

yes but, just like they tested on Top Gear they had a super electric car but it could only run for 30mins when running at its top speed. this is old news.

electric cars can deliver all the engines power and torque with no delay. in theory, they will always out-perform an I/C equivelent.

It`s all pie in the sky untill we have a new, less dangerous energy technology.
