That made me yell out loud! Anyone know of the Redbull basejumping video from about 4 years ago? The brought a wingsuit to that as well. Awesome footage but this clip is even awesomer.

Just did my first couple Wing Suit Jumps a month and a half ago in spain-REALLY FUN, I do Paragliding regularly but this is totally different and they are 2 completely different kind of rushes.

BASE jumping, especially with wingsuits is EXTREMELY dangerous. I take risks as it is doing regular skydiving and paragliding but BASE is VERY VERY risky. Every base jumper I know has lost friends that were also BASE jumpers. The margin for error is VERY slim and the entire sport is unforgiving and illegal in most parts of the world. If the chute opens with a delay or does not open correctly you can have a wall strike or impact and you have no reserve (even if you did have one you are not high enough to deploy it). Landings are much smaller and injuries including fatal ones are a part of the sport. You need to have well over 200 jumps regular skydiivng to start wing suits and wuite a few wingsuit jumps AND BASE jumps before you even attempt wing suit BASE. You start off small then work your way up slowly. Skydiving is not a cheap sport-I spend up to 300-400 a weekend full of jumps every day at the dropzone-not including plane ticket, training and renting or buying equipment is also going to add up. You could do like I did and get you licence and go once a month or so and just rent the equipment and wingsuit which works well for me.
Skydiving is a HUGE rush and BASE is probably the biggest rush you can have as your life is in the balance each and every jump, it is absolutely as heavenly as you would imagine if not more so but you have to be willing to accept the risks and the possibility of things going wrong, you have to know your entire BASE rig in and out and be VERY good at packing your chute PERFECTLY each and every time.
If you want to truely get into BASE you will need to invest ALOT of your time and alot of cash. It is up to you in the end wether it is all worth it - for me I am content with Paragliding and wing suit skydiving but I fully respect those that want to do BASE though I make it a point not to become too close of friends with them to not be overly depressed or upset if they don`t make it on one of their jumps. Base jumpers, skydivers and paraglider pilots are a fairly small communities with BASE jumping being the smallest.
In each community people truely love what they do and are addicted-there is alot of love for one another and an incredible passion for the respective sport of that community. I love my sports immensely though admittedly it does seem to control what I do in life and I am perfectly happy with that and the many people I have met and become close friends with through these sports :)

would be funny if he slapped some kids head stickin out of a car window as he flew past.
