free energy is impossible. The laws of thermodynamics clearly state that. But the definition of free energy is energy coming from nothing. These inventions may work, but they dont get energy from absolutely nothing. It may be possible to get more energy out then is needed to be inputted, but there needs to be a biproduct. This is in no way discrediting the video. All im saying is that people should understand that these things are not "free energy". The water car for example may very well work. but the energy required to get the car moving doesnt come from nothing.

If energy came from nothing, E=mc^2 shows that if the the energy of the universe keeps increasing, the mass increases as well. If this happens, watch the fuck out.

Just because you don`t know where the energy coming from, doesn`t mean it isn`t there. Einstein was a brilliant man, but he was limited by what he could perceive and theorize around him. Nobody knows everything or can see everything.

The future of energy will be fusion power, the production of power using light, abundant, and easily accessed elements for fuel. For all you people that get bonners when talking about hydrogen power, need to know that the fusion of two hydrogen isotopes releases 10 million times the energy as burning the fuel.

It`s a little ironic that the most "free" energy that we have theorized and are capable of creating in the near future will be one of the most expensive projects in the world. but when complete the amount of energy produced by an amount of fuel will be, by comparison, free :"the lithium in one laptop battery, complemented by deuterium(hydrogen isotope) extracted from 45 litres of water, would produce some 200,000 kWh of electricity - the same as 40 tonnes of coal and the equivalent of the UK`s current per capita electricity production for 30 years"-BBC News

Europe, Japan, the People`s Republic of China, India, the Republic of Korea, the Russian Federation and the United States of America have all collaborated/invested in ITER, the biggest and most expensive scientific experiment since the space station, so instead of bitching get involved in this and tell your governments that the ludicrous amounts of money they have already spent isn`t enough and that we need this technology in place in our lifetimes.

fusion doesnt use light, it uses tritium and deutrium, isotopes of hydrogen. And I do agree. If the governments would invest more money into new forms of energy, such as fusion rather than trying to make our existing technology more efficient, our future would look much brighter.
