The worse part that most of you don`t get is that Hamas set up the Palestinians for this slaughter. As I`ve said before, most Arabs don`t give a shit about the Palestinians...they are sacrificial lambs to turn the world against Israel. Of course, Israel is all too willing to oblige.

The truth is, Isreal should have bombed Cairo, not Gaza. Their problem is figuring out that the Palestinian people are not their real enemy.

Sadly, it seems more and more that the solution to the entire problem is to simply build a wall around the whole region and let them fight it out with no help from anyone. Then when the winner proves they can behave in a civilized manner, we let them come out to play with the rest of us.

i`ve heard ppl say well if the palestinians would stop firing rockets, but seriously the israeli settlements in the west bank and the wall they built around jerusalem have been ruled illegal by the world court, so how is any action at all that any palestinians take unjustifiable? if israel took down the wall and settlements and hamas kept up fighting sure, but until then the rockets or anything worse they might come up with are completely justified.

sato...it`s not that I disagree the settlements were a Really Bad Idea (TM), but only a flippin` idiot would give ANY legitimacy to the World Court. Heck, even the United Nations is a hundred times more credible than that...and the UN has sanctions against both the Palestinians and Israelis. It`s not like the Palestinians did nothing to provoke the occupation of their territory...and it`s not like the Israelis haven`t thrown it in their face every chance they get. It`s all a continuation of the same `eye for an eye` bullshit that has been going on for decades.

Neither side has clean hands and everybody overreacts. Seriously, everyone over there acts like immature school children. Blaming it all on one side or the other is absolute ignorance. Do you not remember the 1980s when it was the Palestinians who routinely blew up a hundred innocent Israelis at a time? Today the Israelis kill 200. Are you keeping score? Is that all that matters? Who killed how many today?

Frankly, I`m pretty sick of all of them. Nuke the whole lot of them and repopulate the area (after it stops glowing) with people who can behave like adults.

Israel broke the cease fire on November 5th with a raid which killed 6 Palestinians. They fired rockets back and this is what started it all.I dont thing israel understands the the word cease fire that means both sides stop not just palestinans

Five Hamas Al-Qassam Brigades activists were killed earlier on Tuesday evening by Israeli fire in the Al-Qarara area of Khan Younis and at Juhr Ad-Dik, in central Gaza.

An Al-Qassam Brigades leader, Mazin Sa’da, who is also a police officer, was killed and four civilians were injured including a woman as Israeli forces invaded Juhr Ad-Dik and clashed with Palestinian fighters, according to Muawiya Hassanein, director of ambulance and emergency service in the Palestinian health ministry.

Separately, an Israeli drone launched a missile at a group of Al-Qassam activists in Al-Qarara, killing four of them. Mu’awiya Hassanein identified the victims as Muhammad Ba’lusha, Omar Al-Alami, Muhammad Awad and Wajdi Muharib.

i don`t get it, even if hamas DID break the ceasefire, what choice did they have? hasn`t israel been tightening its grip around gaza`s throat through the past few months? remember the oil shortage? the restriction of humanitarian aid flow into the region? and god knows what else the settlers do on a daily basis that isn`t even newsworthy anymore..the palestinians are being stifled out of existence, right in front of our eyes.

some of you are suggesting we as westerners, as the international community should let them solve their own problems. i believe that`s irresponsible on our behalf. this is not a fair fight on any level. the palestinians are being oppressed, and peaceful protests are not a luxury enjoyed by the oppressed.

it`s time for international intervention.
