With these there will be fog in the city, not smog. And the earth`s humidity will eventually go up. Water reserves will dry up, and we will all die.

You must know absolutely nothing about the water cycle.

Water vapour is the largest green house gas. Food for thought?

what a bunch of bull. the last "water powered" car from japan was one that split the water molecule into hydrogen and oxygen using a chemical reaction in which you had to add an alkali metal. and injecting water in on the power stroke.... are you kidding.... and btw, gasoline = hydrocarbons so we are already burning hydrogen for power, so there is already the same amount of water vapour in the exhaust.....

It`s a hydrogen powered car, why do they have to forcefully novelize these things.

Hydrogen has hard time becoming popular alternative because it is, in truth, quite ineffective fuel. Even liquid hydrogen has far lower energy density than gasoline (per volume) and storing it is impractical. There are much better recycleable vanadium, aluminum and lithium based electrochemical fuels that actually have more energy content than gasoline.

Cullum is on the right track but I doubt the drying up part. Seriously though you think summer is hot now wait until you have 500000000 vaporizers humidifying the city.

Never mind the fact that your water runs the risk of freezing in the winter months in most climates.

What a poor conceptualization, this "new" (and by no means is it new) idea solves nothing!

Maahinen, touched on it. In addition to being very inefficient as a robust fuel source Hydrogen, even when in a fuel-cell, produces more green house gases than gasoline currently does. The trick here is that you need to look at the fuels entire life cycle, not just the last 5% where you utilize it. In that last %5 hydrogen is nearly 100% clean, however, you are ignoring what it took to get it there. Generation/Capture, processing, storage and high-pressure transfer account for more emissions than the entire life cycle of gasoline (including burning). Rather than use immense amounts of energy/money to break molecular bonds we should apply it to better renewable energy harvesting and electrically driven vehicles.
