I blame the rap industry and the people that fuel it`s ideals toward crime, drugs, and violence. All to often do I hear some teenager getting ahold of a lil` whyte cd or some stupid nig shit that glamorizes everything that`s going to ruin your life. I could go on and on about how I think rap music has demoralized people.

^true that. especially the comment on video games. if rap has demoralized society, whats there to say that violent video games dont glorify the same? killing, drugs, etc. we`ll say "awesome" to the next GTA video but vote down every rap song that might be posted.

that said, i hate lil jon and a lot of rapper`s music, but not because i think it has a bad effect on society. art is art, expressed in its own way to the likes of some and dislikes of others. On the other hand, there is DEFINITELY some good rap out there, along with hip hop, r&b, etc. you just have to look. to generalize and say that music demoralized society is just a bit much.

Well I can almost agree with the video game argument except I don`t think I`ve met or heard of the dipshit that models his life after GTA.
