living in Michigan I safely ignore most predictions of how much snow we will actually get....any predictions based on what Chicago got yesterday are probably wrong because we get lake effect snow which can put the guess off by inches or feet

amen mufasa, i live in michigan too. meteorologists are about as useful as a screen door on a submarine when it comes to our weather.
