Wow is not getting old when every other MMO out there sucks complete donkey balls. Vanguard tanked, AoC flopped and Warhammer is just riding on the people who were bored of WoW and are waiting on Wotlk. Don`t get me wrong, its probably a decent PvP game and a good amount will stay, but PvP games only attract a certain amount of a certain crowd.

WoW just reached 11 million ACTIVE accounts worldwide. It isn`t going to die anytime soon.

WotLK will make WoW even more dominant.

ugh, fuck world of warcraft, warcraft should just go back to making strategy games, not MMORPGs, you dont see red alert making an RPG game do you? Same as the warhammer thing. I loved the warhammer RTS games, they were pretty bad ass, but now they turned mmorpg, pass me the gun.

Warcraft II still remains one of my favorite games to date. Warcraft III was ok... I often play DotA on it, but the storyline didn`t caught me as WC II did.

On the other hand, WoW, as an RPG doesn`t attract me. I will never play it, I really can`t stand MMORPGs.
I just hope there will be a WarCraft IV.
With the millions of dollars Blizzard is earning off those WoW junkies they could afford to develop it :)

wow 11 million active accounts. So that means people just prefer 1 type of trash over another. Hence the saying *any trash is better than no trash?*

Only reason wow is the most popular is because it`s so watered down and easy a dyslexic monkey on an overdose of his own feces can play it and succeed.

You guys must be pretty dense... 11 million players and you think the game sucks? I could understand for those that simply dont take to MMO or RPG games, but for those that think this game is garbage for whatever reason... this leaves two possibilities:

1) You actually do play and are trying to lie over it to look "uber".
2) Your mom/dad/grandparents wont fork over 15$ a month for you to play, so you`ve convinced yourself it`s a bad game anyways.

I play and enjoy WoW, eat it.

lol anyone who has played WoW for 1-2 years and not quit yet needs to seriously rethink their life. Trust me, anything is better than WoW. AoC flopped but now is fixed, Warhammer is coming out with more classes and tons of other MMORPG`s are on the way that will blow WoW out of the water. AION, Earthrise and Darkfall just to name a few. People will always be playing WoW, just because its so extremely easy to play and there are so many terrible mmo players. It`s just funny seeing them try to transfer over to something that actually takes skill, they just end up quiting. Anyways, I`m looking forward to Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2, those are some quality games, Blizzard should just give up on mmo`s.
