That`s some good points. I think the most importance is that Obama-Biden believe in the separation of church and state.

^Agreed mate.
Just imagine if ANY of these candidates told America that they were Athiests. They would be written off as Pagan/satanic/evil etc...

It`s like kids pretending to believe in Santa, Knowing deep down he doesn`t exist in order to get their gifts on x-mas day.

Palin is pretty much known for being very religious, where as Obama/Biden`s beliefs don`t revolve around their religion.

It`s true that most president have been christian... but I`m pretty sure that there have been some atheist presidents. At least Obama does`nt go around messing with witch doctors and that stuff.

The atheist trend has just recently started to boom so it`s gonna take some time to catch on.

Well, clearly Penn wants an atheist president, but what about the question: "Is this a reasonable thing to expect now?"

That`s what I don`t like about Penn and Teller. I know they think they`re doing the world a service by exploding myths, but the shrill tone that has, as its perceived expectation the religion-stripping of America is tilting at a pretty big fucking windmill--and maybe they`re fine with that, but I find their show pedantic, and self-aggrandizing.

I`m not arguing for religion, mind you, but their act reminds me of those art-school kids who form street parades where the purpose is to bang on trash can lids "to freak out the normals."

No thanks, you guys go ahead. Penn has been irritating me since he got the gig as the Comedy Central voiceover guy in the early `90s. Ease up, there, juggler dude. The majority of us like to have a beer.
