^ are you serious?? Jason Statham is the man, period. Theres an old Death Race movie called Death Race 2000 made in the 70`s i believe which was great too, so i expect this to be even better.

I know he`s awesome, but he doesn`t pick the very best movies. Kinda like Tony Jaa. I love them both. Just not their directors.

This is just my two cents but I think they completely screwed this trailer up and maybe the movie. They gave away to much, when she said "he knows we`re framing him". First, why frame someone who is probably doing life in prison? What, are you trying to get his prints on the presidents dead body? Since his wife was clearly assassinated in the trailer I think he`d welcome death. Maybe for all his money? /shrug. He clearly doesn`t need that if hes doing life in prison.
Second, they should have hinted towards him being framed. Don`t just flat out say you`re framing him, thats a plot twist that we now know and thats ruined.
Jason Statham is a really good actor, he definitely does fit the role of the character. The nascar part was WTF though.

IMO, This won`t be as awesome as Death Race 2000 for the simple reason that it doesn`t look like they`re getting points for running over bystanders just like the old movie.

This is what made the old movie great, the fact that it was so wrong in so many ways.
