It`s been ages since Top Gear was last on TV, but people forget that it takes ages to make a 10-12 episode series of 1-hour shows with stuff like custom-built of modified cars.

You just can`t make a show every week, or even every 2 weeks because the production takes longer.

By the way, there is also an Aussie version of Top Gear in the works, hopefully it will be jsut as good.
