I love being a scout in that game.

It`s always fun to be the most annoying thing on the map for the other team...

Many times I`ve been able to be so annoying that almost all of the other team concentrated on trying to kill me while my team captured their points.

agreed scouts are the most annoying thing in TF2, but it feels so good to blow one across the room with your shotgun.

I myself play Engies because they are excellent for defense and somewhat helpful on offense.

It is very possible and easier than you think.
You do not need to program the movement of the character`s mouth "muscles" in HL2 games, it is being done automatically. The game detects and the recognizes the sounds made by the speaker in the sound file and determines the appropriate mouth "muscle" movement for the character to fit this. You could talk live in a microphone and have the character move its lips accordingly to what you say. The only thing you have to do is choose a facial expression (emotion) you want the character to have as it talks. This saves a heck of a lot of programing time for the animations for the game developers.
