I wish this documentary had clips of him talking about his depression after the war, his philosophy on science and life, and how he did physics purely for the joy of finding things out.

This documentary barely scratches the surface of how bad ass he was. He didn`t care about his job, banged his students, hated awards (Nobel prize), finished problems Einstein gave up on, played bongos, picked locks, and supposedly went to his fair share of orgies.

I have more interviews and documentaries but this was one of the shorter ones.

Yes, post more please. I`ve read two books that he dictated about his life and experiences that I highly recommend - Surely You`re Joking and What Do You Care What Other People Think. Reading them I`ve laughed out loud a few times while on a packed train.

I cannot express how much I respect this man, and wish to mimic his spirit wherever and whenever I can. I am constantly amazed with his life, his quest for knowledge and adventure, his unwillingness to be embarrassed to question and undermine the accepted views and values, and many more aspects of his character and life which make this man a true role-model.

I have over 10 gigs of audio and video about/from Feynman and still regret his life was not better documented. I believe google videos hosts his movie "What do you care what other people think." I highly recommend it.

Search youtube there you can find an interview compiled in a series of videos. Amazing, trully admirable, I recommend it to everyone here.

If you want to know how smart this man was, watch his lecture on QED. If you don`t like math or calculus you probably won`t watch the whole thing, but I highly recommend it even for the layman. One of the greatest attributes about Richard Feynman was his ability to explain science to everyday people & make it fun to learn.
