OMG. Every person I talk to who has seen this show agrees with me that it was one of the funniest on television.

Why they cancelled it, I will never know.

Although I think you can watch episodes on www.hulu.com

it was the best show that nobody watched. too bad.
the narrator even jokes about it in the final episodes.

i wish high dvd sales would bring the show back, like it did with family guy... but could they get such a hugely talented cast back together?

Its rare to have a cast of people who are all funny it thier own way. But, everyone of those main characters; Michael, George Michael, GOB, Tobias, Buster, George Sr, Lucille, Lindsay, Maeby...all really funny

Even their guest stars; Egg (I mean Ann), Barry, Annyong (Hello), Lucille 2, Bob Loblaw (featuring the Bob Loblaw Law Blog) were great...even Franklin was genious, even if Whitey and African Americany weren`t ready for him

Fucking agreed. No idea why it was canceled. Well to be honest I never watched it, but when I saw it on DVD I laughed my ass off.

I think one of the problems the show faced was once the season got started, a lot of the story lines ran through multiple episodes. A new viewer would tune in, wonder what the hell was going on, and then change the channel...it wasn`t like a lot of sitcoms, where each episode is self-contained.

For example, if you tuned in for the first time and caught the whole family doing the chicken dance in the living room (1:10), you really wouldn`t get the whole joke. The whole series is like this, with old plot twists and eratic behaviours popping up in later episodes or seasons.

By far one of the funniest shows to ever hit TV and an absolute crime that it was cancelled.

Actually i had heard that the show was canceled because there used to be a rap group called "Arrested Development" that made like one hit song and got washed up. So when they saw the show`s success they sued for the naming rights. Something like that. I`m not entirely sure but that`s what i had heard.

It`s still BS that it got canceled tho. It even won a couple of emmys right?

Wow... even with some of the best shows/movies/video games, there is at least one guy who comes on to the comments and talks a whole boatload of pretentious shit about something amazing...

This video has not yet had one of those-- going to show that Arrested Development is the best show ever made.
