I worked for 30+ years in electronics manufacturing. For the last 12 years my job was to relocate manufacturing to low wage countries first to Mexico and Romania then to China and Taiwan. WHY?

If it cost $20 dollars to make something in Texas or Italy or UK it cost $10 to have the same product made in China and shipped to Europe or the USA.

Oh by the way I now have no job, as all the manufacturing is controlled by local ( Chinese ) engineers.
