Animators back then were so fucking lazy, like 2 frames per second. They used to air the original Spiderman (69) and original Fantastic 4 (67) here in Canada a couple years ago. Also I remember seeing The Incredible Hulk live action series from 78 in the 90s, thinking it was horrid, no wonder, I never knew how old it was.

I liked the original Spiderman cartoon...the graphics were pretty funky...especially the matt building colours. The company also did the animation for Rocket Robin Hood (which really introduced the suck).

The Spidey Super Stories section (2:42) is actually from The Electric Company. It was sort of the next PBS show after you outgrew Sesame Street. That`s Morgan Freeman doing the voice over intro.

The "new" Fantastic Four was crap. A big thing during the 80s was to recycle a series by putting a new character in it, usually for so-called "comic relief". They did it with Scooby Do (Scrappy), Godzilla (Godzookie)and with this one...Herbie the Robot (where`s Johnny?) The guy doing the voice over seemed to do most of the cartoons of the 80s. He also did Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, Thundar the Barbarian, etc.

That`s not Aquaman guys, he`s in DC. Marvel has a knock off called the Submariner. But it was funny that they called him exotically erotic. They also called the Hulk salty! lol
