Hammering a semi-amusing joke home in the most obvious and bland manner possible.

It sounds cliche - but give me something a little sharper, more subtle, something... british?

There`s no way the concept for this bit even warrants a punchy one liner delivered by the best in the business - let alone an entire faux news report. Stewart, Colbert, those guys wouldn`t dream of running a full bit on such a weak premise. They make this shit look - well - shit.
