Vote me down for my ignorance, but what does /b/ mean? 30 cars in my neighbourhood had this symbol spraypainted on them, and i cant figure out what it means... help anyone?

^ /b/ refers to the "random board" of the 4chan site which has lots of images - people post them and talk about them.

/b/ - is the darkest part of that site. The images are vile and designed to shock.

(It can also mean bold text is active and can even mean a constant value in mathematics.)
