I know it`s probably just a coincidence, by my friends and i used to do this stuff in grade school and we called it the "swing olympics" on at least one occasion. It brings back some really fun and rather painful memories...

That back-flip was my signature move, and eventually i put a 180° twist in there. I remember getting the wind knocked out of me like that, but the big pain came when my shorts got hung up in the S-hooks that hold the seat to the chain.
I ended up swinging all the way back again, hanging upside-down, with my face dragging against the ground. My braces were jammed right on through my lips.

Lesson to be learned: Don`t participate in the Swing-set olympics if you have cargo pockets on your pants...

Sorry to reminisce in public... but anyone that used to do this is probably feeling at least a little nostalgic right now... am i right?
