The 80th Oscars are on 24th February and here's a montage of all the best pictures from 1927-2006. To some the Oscars are irrelevant self-indulgent trash, to others it's just a show full of glitz and glamour. What is/are your favourite/s? I'd say 1987 The Last Emperor, 1977 Annie Hall, 1972 The Godfather, 1969 Midnight Cowboy, and 1962 Lawrence of Arabia. Without a doubt the worst movie is 2005 Crash, closely followed by 1997 Titanic. And what movies in your opinion should have won? I'd have to say 1991, when Goodfellas (made in 1990) lost out.
