I don`t know why they held back on the sound so much, they really should have pulled out all the stops and had the actors make their own sound effects. The human mouth is very versatile!

I swear, every time I think I`m about to get sick of a barren, rocky dustbowl as the stage, I`ll see an amazing death scene like the one at the end of this segment and... Foomph! They suck me back in every time...
