Martial Arts Mix - Amazing Acrobatic Dis...

Judging by the acrobatic moves, I think this is Thai martial arts mix. Kicks are not as high profiled as in Korean MA. Could be one of those Indonesian styles like Pentjak Silat.

It`s a great demonstration of skill, and you should recognize that, instead of shit canning MOST martial arts on spiked saying "yeah but you cant do that on the street" or "i would just shoot him".

i wanna see this in a real fight, i have yet to. I think that most of this wouldn`t work just cuz you could easily rush them in mid jump and they would lose balance and fuck up and BOOM its over. Yet i still give credit where credit is due, i couldn`t imagine the difficulty of performing such fast paced air manuvers. Then again tho, people wouldn`t immediatly get frieghtend when seeing someone flying at them spinning like a tornado =P

It`s more of an acrobatic training, like gymnasts... Pretty sure those guys can nail you a foot in the face everytime they want but now they`re just having fun and training and getting more in shape.

its deffinetly not from thailand, this has no resemblance to muay thai, fighters from thailand like to wait and are tactical rather than agressive like this guys techniques

theres a great resemblance to taekwondo, probaly is but in the south. but its definitely not Pentjak Silat or muay thai. these guys arent even in a fight, its an acrobatic demonstration, so guys, dunt criticize its effectiveness. its JUST an acrobatic demonstration

You should just take away the "martial" and just call it art or something since you will probably never hit anyone with those moves, unless they are 12 feet tall and/or jumping in mid air.

Most martial art are about actual fighting, if you can`t use them in a real fight all they really are are fancy moves and great work out.

Still skills are skills my hat off.

This looks like it might be from the school Tony Ja went to in Thailand. Don`t know for sure but It`s basically a martial arts college which is designed around physical movement. So none of this is meant to be used in a real fight, it is instead supposed to show of the physical attributes and technical skill of the competitors. It is mostly a mixed style they were throwing kicks that could have come from any system, and ones that would never be in even the weirdest system. Much like the Wushu of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon it has less to do with real fighting, and more to do with making the fighting seem incredible. It takes a lot of skill and talent to be able to make moves like that seem like they could work, especially since most people would never try them in a real fight. I find it amusing that so many people knock it but will still pay the ten bucks or download a copy of a Jet Li, Tony Ja, or some other martial artist movie who does some of the same stuff.

This is a great gymnastics display, fang711 is right, you should appreciate it for that.

Obviously this would fail miserably on the street, but I doubt that`s what it`s for
