Voting doesn`t work the correct way, its impossible to vote intelligent people. Everyone running is corrupted from the start.

Rise up against those in power? Most of us are already in a struggle to afford rent, gas, food, heat, electric. Nobody in the states can afford to just riot. A riot like that would go on for days, if not weeks/months. Best thing for us to do is scratch up enough $ to move out of this place.

^ya you know the voting thing is hilarious to me as well b/c it`s like...well should I pick kerry or bush? They both probably had the same motives from the start. I live in a country full of millions yet when it comes down to it I only get 2 REAL choices...and then when it comes down to it again.....my vote doesn`t really count the guy from the electoral college votes for who he wants. Not to mention you have to be hugely rich and powerful to even stand a chance. It makes no sense b/c most of our country is full of middle class people so why do we want rich and spoiled as a leader?

Obviously this ongoing bullshit isn`t bad enough to warrant a revolution. The administration is doing just enough to keep the average American complacent to it all - the average American that isn`t aware of what any of this means for the future. It`s just a predominant problem with living in the present and not really thinking about the future - have to pay the rent, the gas, get food, etc. Deal with tomorrow when it comes or let somebody else bother with it. Unfortunately, when tomorrow becomes bad enough for people to think about it today, it will probably be too late to do anything about it.

It reminds me of that clip shown in Zeitgeist from the movie "Network".

There`s 300 Million or so people in the USA. Most of which are content enough being raped by the government in exchange for some decent amount of safety and the ability to work and have a family... so, unless the entire country gets screwed out of a home and a job (ie second Great Depression) there won`t be any revolutions and the Elite will run our country, decide who we vote for and we`ll put up with it, God knows I will as long as I can have a job and a family.

I`m thinking that the elite will run our World, especially considering that they can get most labor done cheaply outside of North America and Europe, in the middle East where people will gladly work for $4 a day. Things are going to get worse slowly and the elite can just establish a nice army that gets paid better than the average person.

Everyone bitches about Bush, everyone knows he`s a fuckwad and there`s something else going on behind the curtain (look up PNAC, Project for New American Century), but do you think bitching about it is going to do anything?

The only way to stop it is to use the system, but since nobody is smart enough to go through the legal system (or wants to release their luxury), it ain`t going to happen.
