I do have alot of doubts about the govenernment's complete innocence on thoes attacks, but acting like idiots wont change his opinion, it will just make thoes protesters, and the whole cause to have more transparency in relation to the govenremnts (supposed, although likely) involvement in it.

Mooseman, you are right that yelling and screaming is not the way to be heard. However your translation of the "Booo" makes no sense with the situation. Why would they be telling Bill that there should be a deeper investigation into 9/11? What do you expect him to do? Plus, they definitely weren't trying to figure out whether our government was behind it, they were sure of it. I don't know what happened on 9/11, but I do know that being rude and interrupting a discussion (on live television no less) is not the way to get people to agree with you.

Good for Bill, those people are whack jobs who keep going on about building seven. Even though the owner admitted they brought building seven down with explosives for material gain after the towers fell. That does not make a conspiracy, its not an inconsistency its just pure corporate greed feeding of a horrible tragedy. Right on Bill, I may not agree with every thing he says but its his show and his soap box, not a public forum, which means you can't just show up and try to control what is discussed.

down70, unfortunately that's the kind of world we live in, where only those with extreme and sensational beliefs and opinions get them heard.

I think the point they were trying to make is the way Bill blatantly denounced questions regarding 9/11 was too simplistic (I remember in one of his new rules segments he basically implied those who question anything regarding 9/11 are loonies.), there are certainly unanswered questions which should be addressed, and that's regardless of whether you believe it was a government conspiracy or not. Whoever has power over this almost has the obligation to the families of those who died to properly work out the exact intricacies of how it occurred, what structural factors allowed each building to collapse and what countermeasures can be put in place.

The thing you have to realise is, Maher like any influential television figure commands a lot of influence and opinion. He doesn't have direct control over any possible 9/11 investigations but by asking the right questions he can invigorate public support to demand answers.

I'd like to see Bill Maher refute these 9/11 conspiracy people's evidence is on his show instead of dismissing it. Actually, I'd like to see any prime time show refute it with the evidence presented. I think the building 7 footage alone is enough to open a discussion. Anyone that disagree's, watch the footage in comparison to a real demolition.

Meaning of conspiracy is something that has little facts. 9/11 has loads of facts making it FACT and not a conspiracy, so when tools like this Maher fella try and deny that, they should be slapped. He wouldn't have a job in media if he did believe it though.
