I agree with Mindless, each version is tailored to their audience. I'm not sure Americans would find the UK version funny, or vice versa.

That said, Dwight is the best character on television today.

Ive seen both, I honestly find the American version to be more entertaining. Perhaps its because its more Dry Humor than anything. The Uk version is just out there. Its not bad, but the US version is definatly better imo. Go ahead, rate me down UK heads.

wtf...i hear stuff in the background but no other windows are open. it asks me if i want to be redirected to another site and i pressed ok and some audio started playing and it wasn't the office clip. funny clip though

I agree that the US version might be better.
Ricky Gervais is a producer for the US version, so I think that the series is evolving and getting better and better.
I mean he took what was funny in the UK version, and made it even better in the US version.
But one day they will probably reach their peak. That'll be a sad day for all of us.

wow dwight saves the day!

personally i find the UK version to be much more believible. my old roommate thought it was an actual reality show. it's a more subtle and almost as if you could have these things happen in your own work.

however, the US version is made to be more entertaining. obviously no one will think it's real and to be quite honest, dwight is way funnier than garreth.

really apples and oranges if you've seen both.

I saw a few episodes of the UK version, and it didn't seem all that funny to me. I saw some of the clips from the US version on here, and it seems more silly. Of course, it depends on your kind of humor.
