Evangelion Rebuild Movie 1 Trailer

I'm so happy I'm in Japan for this one. 1st and 2nd movies are only recaps, however they're gonna use CG, new animation and a new character. 3rd and 4th movies are gonna be a sequel of some sorts.

The first three movies will be an alternate retelling of the TV series but i hope alot of it will stay the same.

The fourth movie will be a completely new conclusion to the story; the series is intended to be much more understandable and accessible to non-fans than the original TV series and movies.

Still its great to see they plan to give new life to evangelion as there was a fair number of questions left after the first 2 movie's.

wow.. the memories. i remember downloading the original Japanese Evangelion episodes one by one.

Big fan of the show, although i have to say the ending is... something. Ill warn you right now.. The ending may leave a big hole in your heart. Be ready so watch and say WTF over 100 times.

Is the original creator (Hideaki Anno) involved? I hope so. Hopefully they don't change anything. Continue the story but no changin.

The first 2 movies were definitely WTF?!? But if you think about it, it makes sense. Eva was never meant to be a happy story from day one. It's quite simply a tragedy.

Only anime series I payed good money for. Not sure if im pleased about it being dug up again. The end of Evangelion was a pretty defenitive ending really. I think the mind fuck issue made the series/film stand out much more than the vulgar "kiddy" style anime that has now taken over. Only Paronia Agent has come close to this series in my honet opnion.

The original ending was so fuck up it was great. The whole series was 1 of the best anime I have seen. I hope they don't mess it up like other sequals.
