That looks a bit 50-50. You could say he turned his back and was out... Or you could say he was momentarily stunned and the ref should have let it go on.
The ref (cant think of his name) has let fights gone on way to long in other fights if he likes the fighter who's losing to give him any chance of coming back i.e. Baroni vs minowa. Minowa's head was kicked in 3 times and then his head was literally stomped on 4 times before he even thought of stopping it.

Always good to see shamrock contest a loss though.

That ref is corrupt. Shamrock got hit one or two times and lost his balance and fell down. Anyone who watches much Pride or UFC fighting will tell you that that's when the real fight starts anyways. Why would the ref stop that fight? Nobody was hurt. I am not a Shamrock fan either. I love watching Shamrock loose, but that was not a legit fight.

Yeah, seriously. I think Shamrock got the short end of the stick that time. It seriously should not have been over. He got a little stunned, lost his balance, but that fight shouldn't have been called so quickly. So many fights go on longer than that, to really demonstrate the guy is out of commission. That was just wrong. I'm no Shamrock fan, but he should have been allowed to take a couple more blows before it got called.
