Wanted man!? OK Saddam, you can leave, off you go. Oh yes, those WMD are still missing too. And despite the fact Bush stated 2 years ago there was no 911/Iraq connection, people still think it exists.

Germany WAS trying to take over Europe. Iraq was caged up like an animal, children being starved for its oil. No WMD existed, only lies and oil.

There is something VERY WRONG with the memory and logical thinking of patriots.

I dislike Oreiley but Letterman is pathetic.
You could see him squirming and trying real hard to ambush oreiley but the dude kept his cool and despite being a bit of an idiot himself he easily showed letterman for the Ham tossing ham that he is.

Sorry but Letterman says stuff like "i'm not smart enough to debate you" thinking it will hide the fact that he's not smart enough, as if him admitting it will convince people that he reall is but doesnt want to bog the show down.

As an aside, Oreiley is an idiot for telling a nation that they shouldn't voice their free oppinions cause it will harm the country. That's exactly what the soldiers exist for, to protect freedom.

I have yet to see Bill O'Rielly get owned in any debate, including the Phil Donahue clip that TeKnO_CaLiTY has been pushing. But I do love watching the way that Fox news pisses off most liberals to no end. Its amazing to me that many liberals, who claim to be tolerant, can be so intolerant of any views other than their own.

Oh! and before you start flaming, I never said whether I agreed with O'Rielly or not.

ok, here i go, just mostly responses to other comments and such.

Letterman didn't own anyone.
O'Riely didn't own anyone.
In the full clip you can see that in the end Bill does win, and Dave knows it, but he backs down.

I think that what Cindy Sheehan is doing is totally dishonoring towards her son, and all american military. she has a right to say whatever the hell she wants, but that doesn't mean anyone has to like/agree with it.

Somehow, the insurgents are freedom fighters. I see two things wrong with this.
1) A good portion, maybe even a majority of the insurgents in Iraq, aren't even Iraqi. They're syrian, jordanian, iranian, etc. so they aren't even fighting for their freedom, they have it already. Even the iraqi soldiers do.
2)if they set the guns down right now, they could live the life they wanted to, regardless of their religion, ethnicity etc. Could they do that under Hussein? no freakin way.

these 'freedom fighters' are not fighting because they want freedom per say, they just don't want anything western/democratic, because it will in turn cause problems with the middle easter, muslim way of life and government.


And Arthur you're really striking a nerve with me, because you show no regard at all for the lives of american soldiers. you said "The terroists are the redneck cocksuckers" talking about american soldiers. you must be stupid if you think that every soldier is automatically from the deep south and are redneck. that's incredibly nieve(sp?) and it's one of the top reasons i can't stand the majority of liberals--very few of you are for anything, you're just against whatever conservatives are for. you have no clear morals, no clear party policy, nothing.

then you said "Shut the door there's a draft coming." again it's stupid to believe that. if you honestly velieve that somehow Iraq or any of the middle eastern coutries could muster enough strenght to even shake a stick at the military power of the United States, you're sorely mistaken. We crushed Iraq's army in 72 hours in the first Gulf War, and we did it fast again this time. A large ground force isn't needed for something on this scale. But I'm sure you already knew that, you just had to push your liberal ideaology at the first chance you got.

I like how Letterman avoids O'Reilly's questions and doesnt let O'Reilly say what he wants to say. And the editing is nicely done. Now be good and go watch the entire clip, if you choose to be unbiased.

I think ARTHUR, with all his hatred, is just a waste of good air. His comments regarding the US military are simply uncalled for. Do freedom fighters capture and behead, on camera, people who are trying to rebuild their own economy? I dont think so. I dont know why we even bother arguing with ARTHUR, as he clearly is not a reasonable person.

Besides the fact that Russians, the CIA, MI6, and Egyptian Intel all believed (yes, it turned out to be incorrect) that Saddam had WMDs, here are some more reasons why the US went to war:

1. In 1991 Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait but was forced out by a coalition led by the United States. In the process 293 Americans died in Desert Storm.
2. As part of the peace agreement that Saddam signed to end the First Gulf War, he agreed to give up all of his weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) and allow United Nations weapons inspectors to verify his compliance.
3. Saddam Hussein then proceeded to violate eighteen United Nations mandates to disarm and, in 1998, refused to allow the weapons inspectors any further access inside Iraq. Finally, more than four years later, at the urging of the United States, UN Resolution 1441 was passed demanding that Saddam produce his WMDs immediately or face "serious consequences."
4. After Saddam defied 1441, the United Nations refused to confront Saddam militarily. The reasons were primarily political and economic. As we now know, France, Russia, and Germany were making millions of dollars doing business, some of it illegal, with Saddam. The U.S.A. and Britain complained bitterly, but to no avail (the Oil for Food Scandal).
5. After September 11 the United States embarked on a wide defensive strategy to hunt down terrorists and their enablers wherever a situation posed a perceived danger. Saddam was certainly a terrorist enabler, giving sanctuary to killers like Abu Nidal and Abu Abbas and training Hamas executioners. With his self-admitted stocks of anthrax and other impossible-to-detect chemical and biological weapons, the evil dictator was in a position to supply various terrorist groups with doomsday substances. You'll remember that just a few envelopes dipped in anthrax nearly shut down the U.S. government in the days after 9/11.

This is from O'Reilly's book. I invite you to look up the sources (they are listed in "Who's Looking Out for You") to tell me that this is wrong, but it is not.

Im sorry, but if I had 4 intel agencies telling me that Iraq posed a definite threat to my country and my allies, I would take action. If Bush chose to do nothing, he would end up looking dumber than he does now if an actual attack, one that could have been prevented, had taken place when he had his own intel and that of 3 allies saying that Iraq posed a threat. Just think about it. And yes, hindsight is 20/20.
