The other candidates look nervous at the end there. Im REALLY hoping that either him or Ron Paul will take the White House

I like Ron Paul because he is a better speaker, but both seem to be on the ball, so I'd be ok with either.

He's right though, more Americans have died in Iraq than in 9/11. Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9/11, Iraq doesn't have WMDs. Invading Iraq and Afghanistan only increased the number of "home grown" terrorists. In the end, the war on terror only helped to deepen the pockets of the richest Americans at cost of many lives whilst creating more terrorists.

i hope he gets the funding he needs to run. This may not make any sense right now, it's still early. But i wish more people will support Gravel.

You can at least tell that Gravel is sincere to the bone when he's debating. You can just sense how powerfully he feels about everything that he says. He realizes (and actually shows, which is one of the main separating points from him and the rest of the Dems) that we're at a critical turning point as a nation, and I think he's frightened of what will happen if we don't get in fucking gear. I share his fear.

He sighs and stutters, which is the reason people hate when Bush speaks... but the only difference I see is that it isn't horseshit flying out of his mouth, it's the truth... a golden shower if you will....

This guy really doesn't prove anything to me. So the other candidates made a mistake, does that make them bad people? Can you blame them? They had Collin Powell testifying in front of the U.N saying that there were WMD’s in Iraq. I can recall the administration said that it was a slam dunk. It would only take 6 months and we would be treated as liberators. People would throw flowers at us in the streets and democracy would flourish. It was all a lie, and you can't start bashing the politics who voted for the war that was based on a lie. It's not their fault, they didn't tell the lie. Doing something wrong and having no remorse for it is one thing, but I think all the democrats who voted yes know they made a mistake. Which shows at least some morality, to know that you've done wrong. Does it even really matter what the democrats did back then anyways? The White House, Senate and House of Reps were all controlled by the Republicans. I even think the Supreme Court has a majority of Republicans. It's kind of hard to make things go your way when every branch of the government is on the opposing side. God forbid you oppose the war and the President. Remember what they were saying about Sean Penn when he went to Iraq? They started to call him a traitor. Oh well, what I'm trying to say is even the most moral of people make mistakes. To say that none of these people are fit to be President because they voted for the war is absurd. This administration has used a policy of fear to control the minds of many in Americans, and I think that we might just be starting to wake up from the WORST President in American history. First choice for President is Al Gore. Second choice is Jose Biden. I can see both of those guys getting us off our addiction for oil. Gore 2008
