Anyone who sais Oscar won that fight is an idiot. Go ahead, bury me. It just proves you know fuck all about boxing, let alone scoring. You get points from connecting clean shots, not flurrying to the arms and gloves of your oppenent ONLY at the end of rounds. Don't get me wrong, I've ALWAYS been a De La Hoya fan, but he LOST THIS FIGHT. Fucking deal with it.
Although it wasn't exciting, Mayweather did the only thing he could've done to win this fight. He's weaker and smaller, but he's faster and is more elusive. And that's how he won. If it were on class alone, obviously Hoya won, but that's not what counts.
Mayweather has said himself that he's playing the bad guy. He probably is an ass in real life, but lest we forget that there was another boxer that had that attitude in his younger years that was RENOUND for being an asshole and taunting his opponents. You may have heard of him.. Muhammed Ali or something....
Truth is, no-one has done what Mayweather has done, and he should be respected for it. And he hasn't been fighting bums.
