I think they were going for sheer "wow i didnt know a bunch of niggers with no pants could make something so ingenius" factor than "well a soldier would rather hold this than his dick into combat" factor.

Used properly it can be pretty mean, as the melon demonstrated. more than enough to soften or scare a hyena or whatever before they close into spear distance.

They never showed the boomerang coming back. I've never seen a rang come back.

A stick rates 4 places above a katana? Agreed, This list needs a serious reshuffle

Theres only one way to settle this - find 10 Deathrow Convicts, hand them a weapon each from the list and tell them the last one standing gets a full pardon.

It's based on when the weapon was invented

40,000 years ago, a throwing stick was a pretty complex weapon by comparison to the rocks they were hurling at each other

The katana's obviously more effective than the boomerang, but at that time they also had bow & arrows, swords etc; so not as advanced by comparision

so quit whining & duplicating posts about 6/10
