It was either the back of the cycle helped him balance but the back isn't that large and it would've shown parts shredded off and flung back. He probably changed speed to keep balance, noticing he was going fast and though "oh shit" slowed down to stop a huge wreck then landed it.

my guess would be; since the rider controls the acceleration and brakes on the back wheel, hitting the brakes at the right moment would mean that the part of the bike that was on the ground would slow much faster then the top part of the bike adn the resulting inertia causes the bike to return to the normal stable position about the pivot.

he applied brakes on the rear tire at the last milisecond. this made the bikes momentum carry the front tire back down. but it does look like the bike touched.... wich would explain why it would bounce back down (sorta like a wheelie bar on a funnycar) lucky bastard...

I know what it is! It was an air ballon which dispersed swamp water which mixed in the light to create such powerful wheelie formations on a european sport bike. I don't give a fuck how he does it, but he does it. Thats whats awesome
