many of us will have seen blair witch at some point or another, here is a comedy version of how it should have ended!
don`t watch if you haven`t seen the movie. end scene from the reasonably entertaining "blair witch project" (1999). plot: "in october of 1994 three student filmmakers disappeared in the woods near burkittsville, maryland, while shooting a documentary... a year later their footage was found."
classic film from 1990 based on the book by roald dahl and brought to life by the jim henson company. angelica houston plays a "queen witch" with many followers. apparently they have a hatred of children... so they're out to destroy them. the protagonist (luke) gets turned into mouse after eavesdropping on them and has to stop them while handicapped with a rodent body. i saw this on tv today and figured i would share the memories. nothing like being 5 years old and having the shit scared out of you by this movie. nonetheless still one of my favorites.

double, double toil and trouble; fire burn, and cauldron bubble -- maybe macbeth should have consulted the witch head nebula. this suggestively shaped reflection nebula is associated with the bright star rigel in the constellation orion. more formally known as ic 2118, the witch head nebula glows primarily by light reflected from bright star rigel, located just off the upper right edge of the full image. fine dust in the nebula reflects the light. the blue color is caused not only by rigel's blue color but because the dust grains reflect blue light more efficiently than red. the same physical process causes earth's daytime sky to appear blue, although the scatterers in earth's atmosphere are molecules of nitrogen and oxygen. the nebula lies about 1000 light-years away.
