on september 11, 2001, a pair of tourists from seattle were able to film much of the disaster at the world trade center from their hotel room window. the videotape they made, showing numerous victims jumping to their deaths, was used as evidence earlier this year in the case against the so-called 20th highjacker, zacarias moussaoui. it is estimated some 200 people jumped to their deaths from the world trade center towers to escape the intense fire and smoke.
