little johnny was sitting in his fourth grade class on a bright sunday morning. "okay class," said the teacher, "i want everyone to hand in yesterday's math homework." so the students all filed up to the teacher's desk and handed in their homework. as the teacher went to look at the pile of homework, she noticed a large fly on johnny's paper. so she got out a ruler and smacked the fly. nothing happened. puzzled, she hit the fly again. still, nothing happened. frustrated, she began to repeatedly hit the fly with her ruler and screamed until the ruler snapped in half and flew across the room. johnny then started laughing his head off. "i drew that, you know!" he said proudly. the teacher looked closely at the fly for several seconds, and then realized that he did indeed draw it! the teacher was absolutely fascinated with johnny's artwork, so after school she decided to phone his parents and talk to them about their son's gift. she dialed johnny's house and a male voice answered. "hello, are you johnny's father?" the teacher asked. "sure am," the voice replied. "this is johnny's teacher, and i just want to say that i am blown away by your son's artistic talent. today he drew a fly on his homework paper, and i was so convinced it was real that i broke my ruler trying to swat it!" "oh, that's nothing," replied johnny's father. "last week he drew a picture of a naked woman on our backyard fence, and i'm still pulling splinters out of my dick!"
